T&D Transformer types

Transformer Process Association is focusing on marketing and process optimization services for the following different types of Transmission and Distribution transformers

SDT

Small (Single phase) distribution Transformer

Generally in use in Rural electrification for last mile  distribution system (Power generally within 10-200 kVA and voltages <10kV)

MDT and LDT

Distribution Transformer

Standard three phase Distribution transformer for utilities, renewables and special application (usually ranging 100-5000kVA and voltage <35kV)

CRT

Dry Type or Cast Resin Transformer

Distribution Transformers similar power as DT but with windings encapsulated in resin or varnish thus avoiding insulating oil, in use where flammability or explosion risk for oil type transformer is not possible and on renewables (usually ranging 100-5000kVA and voltage <35kV)

PT

Power Transformer

Also called Transmission transformers they range from first step-up transformer at central power generation plant to different level of step-down transformer before the distribution (Power generally higher than 2500 kVA and voltage >35 kV divided in different class depending on voltage levels up to 1000 kV)

Transformer Process Phase

Transformer Process can follow all Manufacturing process, or deepen with you a single Phase directing you to the main specialists on each phase as below
